A New Network
Midwest Infrared Services, LLC is joining a new network of highly trained and skilled infrared thermographers. The Professional Infrared Network is being put together by Jeff Gadd of Vision Infrared Services in Ohio. He is being assisted by Rory Paul of Barak Systems in California and Jeremy Kays in South Dakota.

The objective of the network is to provide potential clients with a data base of infrared thermographers who are qualified to be members by their expertise, knowledge and certifications. Most data bases for infrared providers give a list of thermographers regardless of their qualifications. Which would you trust?

The web sit should be up and running by the first of April and in full operation by the first of May. As things progress, we will be providing additional details.

Update: May 4, 2011.
This network is now up and running. I would encourage anyone in need of thermography services to make use of this data base. You can be assured that the companies listed meet the highest requirements for infrared inspection practices and have committed to meet or exceed the code of conduct for site participation. Midwest Infrared Services, LLC is proud to be a member of this organization. Their web site is www.professionalinfrared.com/.

Accolades
Just a few testimonials received over the years.

Robert,
As always you have done a Great Job.
Thanks for this one. I am working on getting you in town for another soon.
Kevin Cooper

Bob,
I will only tell them the truth. As you can tell, the truth will in no way hurt you.
By the way, I gave out your name to Ameren. I told them how I felt about the service that I was getting from you. So, you may be getting phone calls. They have been using someone from I believe O'Fallon, Mo. Not sure though.
Good luck. I hope that you do not get too busy to take care of my projects though!!!
Kevin

Bob,
I want to express our appreciation for your willingness to drop everything and make a trip to the refinery. I know you understand how refractory loss could quickly lead to an unstable situation.
Thank you for your quick response and follow up.
Dave

Bob,
Thanks again for all your help, I will certainly use your service again in the future, and also will pass your name along should anyone else need your services.
Thanks Again
Jerry

Thanks Bob.
I hold you in the highest regard...
Mark

Thanks Bob.
Sorry I missed you too. Leon was very excited about the process. He already told me about it twice. Hope to connect in the future.
Gene

Dear Mr. Winship,

Please accept my sincerest and deepest gratitude for your very kind and generous special donation of $xxx.xx of time and expertise to Sts. Joachim and Ann Catholic Church in conducting an infrared examination of our elementary school roof and providing us a thermographic summery report.

Your generous act of professional stewardship is a great help to the wellbeing of our Parish. I pray that your generosity to us return to you in overflowing measure!

Gratefully,
Reverend John A Brockland, JCL
Pastor

Bob,
You see...you're a natural professor of leakography. That's exactly what I wanted!
Thanks,
Paul

It’s great to be paid for doing work you really enjoy. It’s even better when you receive a nice thank you for the work you’ve done.

Infrared and Cancer Detection
This article, from the National Cancer Institute, reveals a side of infrared thermography that most do not know exists. Midwest Infrared Services, LLC dose not offer this service, as it takes very specialized medical training and licensing to perform this most valuable service, but found it to be informative and interesting. We therefore decided to add this to our news page for your interest.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month

This year over 200,000 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer, and over 40,000 women will die. Medical Infrared Thermal Imaging can detect certain cancers 10 years before a mammogram with over a 90% accuracy and without the discomfort, errors, and radiation associated with mammography.

According to the National Cancer Institute:
• 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer during their lifetime.
• Over 30% of women are diagnosed after breast cancer has spread beyond the localized stage.
• When breast cancer is detected early (localized stage), the 5-year survival rate is 98%
There are four ways in which Medical Thermography services help physicians and their breast cancer patients:
• offers a breast screening option for women reluctant to radiation methods
• enables very early breast cancer detection – even with negative mammogram
• provides compelling physiological data useful in determining the necessity for biopsy following suspicious/inconclusive mammogram
• monitors estrogen activity in the breasts
